Intuitive, Energy and Chakra Readings

Welcome, and thanks for your interest in an intuitive reading, energy reading, or chakra balancing to assist you on your journey of personal healing, wellness and spiritual growth.

I am Renée Deakin, and I offer intuitive readings, energy readings and chakra balancing sessions in person (I am in Errington on Vancouver Island, BC, but am happy to travel) and long distance by phone or email.

I gently and respectfully tune into your energy and chakras, and help balance and soothe your energetic body while opening myself to the flow of any information that may come for you. I'm simply an intuitive conduit to help guide you on your journey toward healing, whether it is physical, mental, spiritual, emotional or otherwise.

I need you to know that I cannot heal you. I don't tell the future, or have answers to winning lottery numbers. I don't know if he loves you, or if you should buy that house. I'm not here to give you answers, I'm here to help you find your own.

A Bit About Me ~ Keeping it Real

You know, I never intentionally set out to do energy and chakra readings. In fact, I consider myself a skeptic when it comes to readers, healers, psychics and such!  Okay, to be fair, I'm an open-minded skeptic. I love to consider the possibility of new ideas and concepts.

Much to my surprise and delight, a number of "coincidences" have come together, especially over the last 25 years or so, that have strengthened my apparent natural abilities to assist others with energy healing and wellness.

My training and experience with vibrational and energy healing comes from being taught by several medicine people in the ways of hands on and energy healing throughout the years. I've never sought out these people; I have had the good fortune to receive instruction from my teachers in a very natural, holistic way. Most recently, I have been taught the sacred ways of Munay-Ki, a different form of energy healing.

I've always naturally been compassionate, gentle and respectful, and with my teachers' help, over time those qualities have somehow tranformed into the ability to intuitively assist with intuitive chakra and energy balancing. Imagine that!

I have been guided to do these readings and for whatever reason, I have been gifted in this way to help others on their journeys. So, with gratitude for that, and a small dose of remaining skepticism that allows me to keep it real, I offer you energy and chakra readings and balancing to help you on your own journey.

How do we prepare for all intuitive energy and chakra readings?

Intention - In preparation for your energy and chakra reading, I open my own personal sacred space and always consciously set my intention that the results of the reading be for the greater good of All, and may harm come to no one.

Sacred Space - I then create sacred space for your reading in the physical space where we'll be doing the reading. If you are receiving a long distance intutive energy or chakra reading, I recommend that you create your own sense of sacred space as well. You may do this by first allowing yourself some personal quiet time, preferably alone. You may lie down, sit quietly, meditate, visualize, or just plain relax - whatever makes you most comfortable.

Music can be a helpful tool to create sacred space. I have a collection of music that I play during readings, some of which I've listed as a resource for you at the bottom of this page.

I often bring crystals, incense, and decks of cards into our reading space. You may also use any other tools that help you feel that you are in your own sacred space.

What happens during an energy reading/chakra balancing?

I begin by tuning into your energy and allowing the flow of communication to open between us energetically. I do not force anything to flow - I only open myself to natural, peaceful, intuitive guidance.

As I read your chakras and energy, I intuitively work with them however I am guided. I scan your chakras and energy, and then ask for Universal guidance in helping you in whatever way I'm able. Scanning your chakras and energy allows me to see and intuitively receive guidance as to how to help in any problem areas of your chakras or energy field.

In Person Readings - If we meet in person I use my hands to scan your energy and chakras, usually not touching you. During this time, you'll enjoy some gentle, peaceful, soothing time of relaxation.

Long Distance Readings - I do long distance readings in the same way as in person, envisioning you in front of me and using my hands to connect with your energy.

If guided to do so, I then begin balancing your chakras by intuitively channelling energy to them. For in person energy readings and chakra balancing, I may have physical contact with you at some points during the balancing.

This is an extremely gentle process in which you should feel soothed and nurtured. I do not force energy to flow anywhere specific. I do not try to make your chakras spin in a different direction, nor do I try to make anything happen. I am continually checking in with my higher self and guides to make sure I am doing no harm to you.

During the balancing, if guided to do so I sometimes use my own essence misters around your chakras and aura for help with healing energy. For both in person and long distance readings, the feedback I've received is that this can be the most relaxing part of the reading.

Often during your energy reading and chakra balancing I will receive psychic messages of different kinds for you. If by the end of your chakra balancing I haven't received any psychic messages, I'll then move into the intuitive energy reading part of our session.

What happens during an intuitive reading?

If we are not doing a chakra reading and balancing first, I will begin our reading by opening myself to the Universal Oneness. I ask if there are any messages that I may pass along to you.

I am able to receive intuitive visual and aural messages for you from several sources, including your guides and sometimes from those who have passed on. This means I can see images or beings, and can hear messages from them as well. Sometimes the messages come in the form of people, guides, or animals sharing with me. Sometimes it is simply a word, a smell or a sound. I have no control over this - I am open to whatever it is that you need to receive.

During an inuitive reading in person or by phone, I offer you the message as I receive it. By email, I will type the entire experience to you. First I will offer the messages without interpretation, and I will then offer insight or intuitive guidance as you process the message in your own way.

How does a reading end?

As you'll read below, readings are always different, and they come to an end when I have received all the messages for you that are supposed to come to me in the time we've booked for your reading.

As our reading comes to a gentle close, I take a few intuitive moments of silence, and may offer you a card from one of my inspirational decks, or if our reading was long distance I may choose one for you.

For in-person readings, I share with you during or after the reading as I am intuitively guided, offering you whatever information comes to me. For long distance readings, immediately when I'm finished I make notes of all that happened during the reading. I then type it out and send it to you by email.

Some actual examples of my readings

For quite a long time, I doubted my own gifts and abilities for intuitive energy and chakra readings. My husband would chuckle incredulously, reminding me of the many instances when my abilities were confirmed without a doubt.

During one woman's reading, a man appeared to me and gave me some information. I was able to see him clearly and hear his words and message for her. When I revealed his information and detailed description to the person for whom I was doing the reading, she was immediately in tears as she recognized the man as someone from her past who had died many years earlier. The message the man gave didn't make sense at all to me, but made perfect sense to the person for whom I was doing the energy reading. This is quite common during my readings.

During a long distance reading, several squirrels came to my window chattering and making a racket as I tried to focus on the reading. It was quite distracting, but I continued. When emailing the person the results of her reading, I included this as an amusing endnote to her reading. She immediately emailed me back with excitement, asking what time I did her reading? It turns out that at the exact time the squirrels were chattering outside my window, she was sitting in a park offering peanuts to the squirrels there.

During one reading I detected a small growth in a woman's abdomen, and felt cautious about giving her news that could possibly turn out to be indication of serious illness. The woman's response was overjoyed; she was pregnant and hadn't yet told a soul, not even her husband!
