I can't say enough about the revelations that came to me from this book! Such simple information, yet completely life-changing. I've never been told how the body actually heals itself before. Wow! Now I know exactly what my body needs for health. I now see how skewed my own beliefs about health and wellness have been.
Five years ago, friends knew me as a person riddled with constant pain from serious injuries, prone to chronic depression, and unstable in my general health and wellbeing. I had many minor complaints and a few major ones, and never really felt content with myself.
Recently I had the good fortune of travelling to stay with some of these friends who knew me then. I shared with them some of the knowledge I've gained since reading the 4 Keys book and subsequently diving full-scale into learning more about what true health means. More importantly, because I was there for days, they could see my daily routine for themselves, including a warm glass of water with fresh squeezed lemon juice in the morning, and my daily smoothie of hemp protein, greens powder, psyllum husk powder, and flax or hemp oil.
I'd also shared about my lifestyle changes, including yoga and daily walking, removal of myself from city living to a more simple rural lifestyle, and surrounding myself with truly loving, soul-nurturing relationships, including a wonderful marriage.
The change in me was affirmed strongly when last week I received a phone call from one of those friends with whom I'd visited. He's noticed a great deal of change in me in many ways, and has seen the difference first hand. Most noticable for him has been my change in temperament to a more content, calm, secure person, and he was amazed. What could be more affirming than that? There's no proof that speaks to me louder than seeing such dramatic results in my own life.
This isn't one of those fad diet plans. You will find suggestions for improvements on how to eat for true health. You won't find recipes in this book, but you will come away with a thorough understanding of how your body processes different foods. You'll be suprised and amazed learn what the body considers food, and what it considers toxins.
This isn't a book filled with hype for a new fad. It will give you a new perspective on your role and responsibility in your own health in a factual and encouraging way. It will encourage you to take responsibility for what you put into your body, and what you don't.
In my life, this book has been the springboard off which I've catapulted into a whole new level of BE-ing my body, mind, spirit and soul. I strongly recommend "Conscious Health" as an incredible source of knowledge and wisdom for natural wellness and wholeness of BE-ing.
